We are an award winning ocean front resort with 47 beautifully furnished studios and one bedroom apartments, all with full kitchens; most with great views of the ocean or our pool and gardens (Accommodations). We are located on the famous "Flowers street" sections of Hollywood Beach, 15 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale on the north and 30 minutes from Miami on the south (Maps). Even though we are in the middle of two big cities, Hollywood Beach has still been able to retain that quaint town feeling, where neighbors still know each other and tourists are treated with a special personal touch. You can spend your time as you like, you might choose to swim in our magnificent clear blue ocean, sunbathe in our spectacular beach, or rent a bicycles and ride to the pedestrian boardwalk, which is just less than a mile from us. Whether roller blading, walking, or enjoying a drink as you relax in an outdoor café facing the ocean, Hollywood is the place to visit!!! If you are a sports enthusiast, you could try one of our many golf courses or tennis courts in the area. We are also close to sports arenas, football and baseball stadiums. Enjoy a horse or dog race, even a fast game of jai alai, which are just minutes away. If you like gambling or fishing, the cruise ships go out for half or a full day. Even scuba dive right off our beach to the beautiful reefs located just about a mile off shore. Our newly refurbished downtown are, only a few minutes away offers great dining of a stroll through very unique shops and art galleries, or just visit our many other attractions in the area (Attractions). The GREENBRIAR received several awards by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and has been endorsed by newspapers and travel guides (Awards and Endorsements).
